The Institute for Partnerships in Education (IPiE) at UNC Greensboro is excited to announce a new two-year partnership with Guilford County Schools (GCS). The partnership centers on the Math Teachers of Tomorrow (MT2) program, which aims to prepare and retain pre- and in-service mathematics teachers interested in teaching mathematics in GCS schools. Through the partnership, GCS is fully funding students’ pursuit of an undergraduate or master’s degree in mathematics education. This includes tuition, a generous stipend as students complete their studies, and a signing bonus upon completion of the program. In response, participating teachers commit to working in GCS for each semester of support they receive.
