The Tutoring Collaborative

The Tutoring Collaborative

The Institute for Partnerships in Education (IPiE) in UNC Greensboro’s School of Education (SOE) has partnered with the Guilford County Schools Tutoring Department to create the Tutoring Collaborative. This collaboration is designed to recruit, train, and support full-time graduate students to serve as tutors for K-12 students in Guilford County Schools to provide “high impact, intentional tutoring”. Tutors will receive training through (1) Guilford County Schools to support their understanding of curricular programs and (2) the Tutoring Collaborative staff around best practices for one-on-one and small group tutoring.
