Engaging And Advancing Community-Centered Teacher Development (EnACTeD)

Engaging and Advancing Community-Centered Teacher Development (EnACTeD) is a partnership between the UNC Greensboro and Guilford County Schools and Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools. It is funded by the Department of Education National Professional Development program. Project EnACTeD offers educator preparation to support multilingual students and their families.

Goal 1 – provide online professional development (PD) to engage educational professionals working with multilingual learners

Goal 2 – prepare undergraduate Elementary Education preservice teachers through English as a Second Language (ESL)/Dual Language (DL) Second Academic Concentration (SAC)

Goal 3 – prepare inservice teachers through the online ESL/DL add-on program

Goal 4 – engage multilingual families to support educator preparation
