Math and Science Teachers of Tomorrow (MST2)

Math and Science Teachers of Tomorrow

The Math and Science Teachers of Tomorrow (MST2) program is a partnership between UNCG’s School of Education, the Institute for Partnerships in Education (IPiE) at UNCG, and Guilford County Schos (GCS). The goal of the partnership is to train and retain pre- and in-service mathematics  and science teachers interested in teaching mathematics in GCS schools. Through the partnership, GCS is fully funding students’ pursuit of an undergraduate or master’s degree in mathematics or science education. This includes tuition, a generous stipend as students complete their studies, and a signing bonus upon completion of the program. In response, participating teachers commit to working in GCS for each semester of support they receive.
