GCS Tutoring Collaboration
The Institute for Partnerships in Education (IPiE), housed at UNC Greensboro, is excited to announce a new partnership with Guilford County Schools (GCS) to provide tutoring services for K-12 students. Through the GCS Tutoring Partnership, IPiE is able to connect UNCG graduate and undergraduate students with GCS teachers to assist students with unfinished learning.
Tutors work with GCS students one on one or in small groups and plan alongside GCS teachers while working in the classroom to improve educational opportunities for children in the Guilford County community. Tutors are needed in math, science, and ELA, across grade levels.
The Institute is currently looking for additional UNCG students who are interested in joining this effort in Summer 2022 and for the 2022-2023 academic year. For more information, visit the UNCG GCS Tutoring Collaboration page.
